John Herrema

Vice President, Business Development

Mr. Herrema joined Visto as VP Business Development in June 2003 as a result of the Visto - ViAir merger. John co-founded ViAir in February 2000 where he also served as ViAir's VP Business Development.

Prior to co-founding ViAir, Herrema was Business Development Manager in Microsoft's Wireless Sales and Strategy Group where he drove new business development with mobile network operators, such as Nextel Communications and Sprint PCS. Prior to that, Herrema was a Senior Product Manager for Sprint PCS where he was responsible for the development and launch of the first Sprint PCS Wireless Web offerings, including the formation of partnerships with Yahoo! and Openwave Systems.
